Latest news from SPECTRUMCoP
📅 SPECTRUMCoP meetings in September and October
We are planning a short meeting for members of SPECTRUMCoP Thursday 24 September at 15:00 CEST. This is a short 30-minute session to discuss SPECTRUM's plans for the upcoming period (including the survey) and answer any questions members may have.
This meeting is scheduled just a few days before the annual SPECTRUM Project meeting in Lecce, so it will also be a great opportunity to gather inputs and ideas to bring forward during that event. This meeting is co-located with the EGI Conference 2024. More info here: https://www.egi.eu/event/egi2024/
The regular meetings of the various Working Groups will resume in the coming weeks, and will focus in particular on analysing the survey.
📢 Dissemination and closing of the survey
Don't hesitate to keep disseminating the survey as widely as possible. The closing date has been extended to 30 September. More info here: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/SPECTRUM-JENA_Survey1
If you have any questions, you can check the FAQ page on Confluence, or contact valentin.jay[at]neovia-innovation[dot]eu and tommaso.boccali[at]gmail[dot]com.
This section will provide the latest news for SPECTRUMCoP members.
📢 Dissemination of the Survey
The survey has been published on the EU Survey platform, the official open-source survey management tool of the European Commission (which you can also use for free). Thank you to everyone for your contributions. Tommaso has done a lot of work to sort and review this survey, which has more than 200 questions. We aimed to make it as simple as possible to complete (the survey adapts to your role and your organisation, so no respondent has to answer all 200 questions).
We encourage you to disseminate the survey as widely as possible to the relevant audiences. You can share the SPECTRUM project's LinkedIn post or send the survey link via email with the explanatory text about the project and the survey, which you can find here.
🗂️ Organisation of the SPECTRUMCoP
Several changes have been made to the SPECTRUMCoP Confluence since June. Here’s what you can find:
- People Directory: In the Confluence, you can find a "People directory" with some information for each SPECTRUMCoP member. You can edit your profile page if you have an EGI SSO account. Otherwise, you can provide the necessary information to valentin.jay[at]neovia-innovation[dot]eu. As a reminder, you can find the list of members of each Working Group (WG) in their main page (and in the mailing list of your WG for Chairs).
- Document Repository: Together with Sergio and Tommaso, we have set up a document repository in Confluence. To add a document (an EGI SSO account is required), go to the "Document Repository" page and click on "Create new resource entry." You can then add various details. To assign it to your Working Group, you can add a tag by clicking on the tag icon (just to the left of the padlock) and writing, for example, "WG1". Each WG is free to use this document repository or another method if they prefer.
- Minutes of WG Meetings: The minutes from your regular meetings are in each WG folder, under "WGx Meetings." There is a meeting page template available. To create a new meeting page, you will find a "Create a new page meeting" button on the main page of each WG.
⏭️ Next Steps
Working Group meetings will resume after the summer break. In the meantime, if you have any questions, you can check the new FAQ page on Confluence, or contact valentin.jay[at]neovia-innovation[dot]eu and Tommaso.boccali[at]gmail[dot]com. We will keep you updated here and by email about future progress of the SPECTRUMCoP.
