Zdenek: Quick look at Bjorn's concept note. CESNET's role is a support role in this new proposal rather than work package lead as in C-SCALE. 

EGI.eu: no feedback so far. 

Dennis: VITO discussed internally use cases but need to process/filter the ones presented to the consortium to avoid overlap with the ones from Deltares.

Who will be taking this?

Raymond shared a picture: Scale up and down; pre/post processing for Destination Earth; exploit C-SCALE federations; interoperable with EuroHPC and DestinationEarth

Stanislaw: Would this run standalone? or run within Destination Earth?

Raymond:

• Not everybody has access to Destination Earth, it's difficult to access it. With this approach, via interoperability framework, can streamline the process.
• This way we integrate with Destination Earth
• Regarding use cases, they may prefer to use our proposal for easy access and early testing, and only those prepared can go into Destination Earth

Stanislaw

• Concern 1: Potential overlap between our proposition and the Digital Twin engine developed by ECMWF, which may be problematic
• Concern 2: CloudFerro is the provider for the Destination Earth datalake
• We would love to participate, and the topic is of our interest, but we don't know whether we can participate yet. So we will think about and come back to you.

By the next meeting everybody should declare how to contribute to Bjorn's one pager.

We need to define who's going to be proposal coordinator.

Charis to email the consortium with a reminder with actions for all to provide input to Bjorn's concept note.
