What is the purpose of the Security Monitoring Support?

The goal of the Security Monitoring Support is to provide oversight of the EGI infrastructure from the security standpoint. We achieve that by:

  • providing patch monitoring using Pakiti
  • coordination with other relevant SU, namely those involved in monitoring and result processing

The Pakiti EGI instance

Which quality of service (QoS) will you provide?


Who will assign tickets to Security Monitoring Support?

DMSU (Deployed Middleware Support Unit) and all security contactsof sites and/or NGIs.

Are tickets typically solved in Security Monitoring Support or reassigned elsewhere?

Tickets can be re-assigned to SU responsible for other monitoring components.
